2020 Baseball Stadium Tour -- Tempe Diablo

Tempe Dialbo is the home of the Angels spring training. It is supposed to be one of the worst spring training facilities but others say it's a must see. Either way I wanted to see a game there. It is also one of the more pricier spring training facilities. Two tickets with fees cost us $75.. $28 a ticket. Sure we were 2 rows back but they were still bleacher seats.

Tempe Dialbo is in Tempe and there is really only one way in and out. Traffic is slow going in. Parking is at back of the stadium and it bit of a walk to the stadium. There is also lots around the stadium. To enter the stadium you either walk up to flight of stairs or ramp. You do not enter at street level.

I am not a fan of Tempe Dialbo. The concourse is very narrow and there is a standing room line all the way around the stadium.  It is very crowded. Unlike most spring training stadiums, you can not walk all the way around the stadium either. To get my passport stamp or even buy anything, you browse the store and the registers are outside because there is no room. I am just not a fan of the set up at all.

The game was good. We saw the Angels and the Indians. It was a beautiful day for baseball and some of the big names played. We stayed in a our seats for a few innings and then walked around. We watched a few innings in the standing room.

This is not high on my list of spring training sites I need to run back to. I'll be happy if I never go back. It definitely needs upgrades or even a new ballpark. The highlight was seeing Mike Trout's truck.
