When Danielle sent me a text with a code for two free Bucks tickets, I was like "yes, please." The hubby has been wanting to go to see the Bucks play in Milwaukee ever since the Fiserv was built. Because the Bucks are the hottest team in the NBA with the hottest player, tickets aren't cheap. We were lucky to see them in March in Phoenix but we still wanted to see them in Milwaukee. Thanks to Danielle and Pick n Save, we were able find a date that worked and had tickets available. Neither of which was very easy.
We both have been to a Bucks game at the Bradley Center but never together. My brother took the hubby to a Bucks game and he had courtside seats.
Getting to the Fiserv was pretty easy. We bought parking ahead of time and Googlemaps lead us right there. It was a short walk from the parking garage to the Fiserv in which the hubby got to see part of the Christkindl market. I wish we got there a bit earlier so we could have enjoyed the Christkindl market beforehand.
When you enter the Fiserv, you are on the court level and had to go up to the 100s and the 200s. Our seats were in the 200s which involved a flight of stairs and the elevator since the hubby doesn't do escalators. We got to our seats right before tip off.
Now we've been to many places and the Fiserv Forum is quite posh. Every single seat in the place is comfortable leather. There is plenty of leg room. As the hubby said, it is like being in your living room. All the sound funnels to the floor so it's not even noisy.
The game was a blow out. The Bucks played the Knicks who aren't very good. After every 3 pointer (and there were a lot) t-shirts were thrown. The hubby was able to snag me one.
If we ever get free tickets again, we will be back. It is a great venue to watch a game but we are cheapskates and refuse to pay for tickets.. well unless they make it to the NBA championship and then we will see.
